Odile
Odile was always an interesting character to me, she was a person made to look like the princess, Odette, in order to trick her prince into making a vow of everlasting love to the wrong girl! As most of you know I LOVE her color pallette, it is so daring and the opposite of our dear sweet Odette.
I loved making this costume because I was making at the same time as Odette, all of the steps were the same, I just had to do each step twice. My absolute FAVORITE thing about this costume is the hemline which is scattered with rhinestones and glittery vinyl feathers. It took ages to place and have cut, but wow was it worth it for them to scatter down from the waist to the hem. But oh lets also not forget...THE FULL SIZED POCKETS!!! This dress consists of duchess satin, green floral brocade, and chiffon. The details are made with rhinestones, glitter iron on vinyl, and handmade bias tape. |
